Information by Research Trustfinance
Established by an Act of Parliament in 1995 (Act 504), the Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) is the central body for implementing and overseeing Ghana's Free Zones program. Its mission is to transform Ghana into a gateway to West Africa by creating a highly attractive and conducive business environment for both local and foreign investors. The GFZA grants licenses to businesses, facilitates land acquisition, and provides a range of fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, such as tax exemptions, to encourage manufacturing, service provision, and export-oriented enterprises within designated economic zones.
