Founded in 1980 by Confcommercio Imprese per l’Italia – Bergamo, Fogalco Soc. Coop. is a collective credit guarantee consortium (Confidi) supervised by the Bank of Italy. Its primary mission is to facilitate access to credit for its member companies, primarily SMEs, by providing guarantees to banks and other financial institutions. This reduces the risk for lenders and helps businesses secure loans and financing more easily. In addition to its core guarantee services, Fogalco offers financial consulting and assistance in accessing subsidized financing and public grants.
