Originally founded as National Machine Tool Financial Corp. (NMTFC), the company specialized in equipment financing. It was later acquired and became First Midwest Equipment Finance Co., operating as a division of First Midwest Bank. In February 2022, Old National Bank completed its merger with First Midwest Bancorp, and the equipment finance division was subsequently rebranded to Old National Equipment Finance. Today, it continues its mission to provide flexible and competitive equipment loans and leases to businesses of all sizes across various industries throughout the United States.
