Established in 2004, the Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. (FPSB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing, upholding, and promoting worldwide professional standards in financial planning. Its primary mission is to benefit the global community by ensuring the competency and ethical conduct of financial planners. FPSB manages the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP) certification program in over 25 countries and territories outside of the U.S., overseeing the education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements for financial planning professionals to achieve and maintain this globally recognized standard of excellence.
