Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka (FHLBank Topeka) is one of the 11 regional banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank System, a government-sponsored enterprise created by Congress in 1932. As a privately capitalized cooperative, FHLBank Topeka is owned by its member financial institutions, which include commercial banks, credit unions, insurance companies, and community development financial institutions. Its primary mission is to provide a stable source of liquidity for its members to support housing finance, asset-liability management, and community development. The bank achieves this by offering competitively priced loans (advances), credit products, and other essential services to its members.
