The European Primary Placement Facility (EPPF) is a Luxembourg-based securitisation vehicle created on the initiative of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the French Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC). Its mission is to provide a flexible, rapid, and cost-effective funding channel for European SMEs, mid-caps, local authorities, and project finance vehicles by connecting them with institutional investors. EPPF achieves this by offering a standardized and transparent process, allowing borrowers to tap into capital markets for financing through the issuance of debt securities.
