Development Initiative for Social Advancement (DISA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1993 in Bangladesh. Its core mission is to create a poverty-free society with equal opportunities for all, focusing on the socio-economic empowerment of the poor and marginalized, especially women. DISA implements a range of integrated development programs, with a primary focus on microfinance, alongside initiatives in health and nutrition, agriculture, education, renewable energy, and water sanitation.
