Originally chartered in 1951 to serve the employees of Consumers Power Company (now Consumers Energy), COPOCO Community Credit Union has since expanded to serve the entire state of Michigan. As a not-for-profit financial institution, its mission is to provide its members with affordable, high-quality financial services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services. Profits are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees, emphasizing a community-focused approach to banking.
