Originally chartered in 1946 as SAC Federal Credit Union to serve personnel at Offutt Air Force Base, the institution rebranded to Cobalt Credit Union in 2018. As a not-for-profit cooperative, it is owned and governed by its members. Cobalt's mission is to be the most trusted financial partner for its members, returning profits to them through lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees. The credit union offers a comprehensive suite of financial services, including personal and business banking, loans, mortgages, and investment services.
