The company was known for its proprietary trading platform, VT Trader, which offered advanced charting tools and automated trading capabilities. Headquartered in New York, CMS Forex provided services to a global client base. In October 2010, the US retail forex accounts of CMS Forex were acquired by Gain Capital Holdings, Inc.
