Founded in 1808, Borsa Italiana is Italy's main stock exchange, headquartered in Milan at Palazzo Mezzanotte. Its mission is to support listed companies, intermediaries, and investors by providing an efficient, transparent, and regulated marketplace for the trading of a wide range of financial instruments, including equities, bonds, derivatives, and ETFs. For many years a part of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), Borsa Italiana was acquired by and integrated into the pan-European stock exchange group Euronext in April 2021, further connecting Italian markets to the European financial ecosystem.
