Chartered in 1956, Bangor Federal Credit Union was originally established to serve the civilian employees of the Dow Air Force Base. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. The credit union's mission is to deliver the best financial experience to its members by offering a variety of personal and business banking products, including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, auto loans, mortgages, and business services, while returning profits to members through better rates and lower fees.
