Founded in 1993, Ballyhackamore Credit Union Limited is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to promote thrift by providing a safe place for members to save and to offer credit at fair and reasonable rates. As a community-focused organization, it serves individuals who live or work within the East Belfast Parliamentary Constituency area, offering a range of financial products including savings accounts, personal loans, and other member services, with all profits being returned to the members or invested back into the community.
