Amref Sacco was registered on 15th May 1985, initially to serve the employees of the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF). It has since opened its common bond to welcome members from the public. As a Deposit-Taking Sacco regulated by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) of Kenya, its mission is to mobilize savings and provide competitive credit facilities and innovative products to empower its members economically and socially.
