Established by the U.S. Congress in 1916, AgFirst Farm Credit Bank is part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, a network of borrower-owned financial institutions. It operates as a wholesale bank, providing funding, risk management, and a wide range of support services to 18 affiliated Agricultural Credit Associations (ACAs) across 15 eastern states and Puerto Rico. The Bank's mission is to support rural communities and agriculture by ensuring a reliable source of credit for farmers, ranchers, agribusinesses, and rural homeowners.
