Founded in 1996, the Women's Institute for a Secure Retirement (WISER) is a non-profit organization that focuses on the unique financial challenges women face. Its mission is to provide education and advocacy to help women, educators, and policymakers understand and address the critical issues surrounding women's retirement security. WISER creates a variety of consumer publications, conducts workshops, and provides training to help women of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds take financial control and secure their futures.
