The Wherry Dragon Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution that operates on a not-for-profit basis. Formed in 2013 from the merger of Wherry Credit Union and Norwich Credit Union, its mission is to provide financial services to the community, promoting thrift and offering loans at fair and reasonable rates. As a co-operative, it is run by and for its members, with any surplus being returned to them through dividends or used to improve services.
