Originally chartered in 1931 to serve the employees of a local meat packing plant, Wakota Federal Credit Union has since grown into a community-chartered financial institution. As a not-for-profit cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. The credit union's mission is to be a trusted partner providing lifelong financial well-being through a variety of services, including savings and checking accounts, consumer loans, mortgages, and digital banking solutions.
