Originally founded in 1885, The Trust Company was one of Australia's most established trustee and financial services firms. In 2013, it was acquired by Perpetual Limited, another historic Australian financial institution founded in 1886. The acquisition combined two of the country's oldest trustee companies, creating a powerhouse in wealth management, corporate trust, and philanthropic services. The Trust Company's operations and services have since been fully integrated into Perpetual's business units, primarily Perpetual Private and Perpetual Corporate Trust, continuing its legacy of providing expert fiduciary, investment, and advisory services under the Perpetual brand.
