Established in 1975, The Plumbing & Mechanical Services (UK) Industry Pension Scheme is a large, multi-employer pension plan serving the United Kingdom's plumbing industry. Its mission is to provide retirement and death benefits for its members and their dependents. The Scheme consists of two parts: a Defined Benefit (DB) section, which is now closed to future accrual, and a Defined Contribution (DC) section, which is the primary vehicle for current members' pension savings. It is managed by a Trustee company, Plumbing Pensions (UK) Ltd, which is responsible for the administration and investment of the Scheme's assets in the best interests of its members.
