Sunbird is a set of open-source, configurable, and extendable digital building blocks, stewarded by the EkStep Foundation. Its mission is to empower organizations to create customized, large-scale digital platforms for various sectors, primarily education, but also applicable to health, governance, and finance. Originally developed to support India's national education platform (DIKSHA), Sunbird now serves as a Digital Public Good, offering APIs and services for identity management, content creation, certification, and data analytics to help build equitable digital ecosystems globally.
