Setu, legally known as Brokentusk Technologies Private Limited, is a financial technology company that builds APIs to help businesses create and embed financial products for their customers. Founded in 2018, the company's mission is to accelerate financial inclusion and innovation in India by providing the technological "bridges" between financial institutions and developers. Setu's product suite enables services such as digital payments via UPI, data access through the Account Aggregator framework, identity verification (eKYC), and automated collections. The company was acquired by Pine Labs in 2022 and subsequently acquired by the lending fintech Fibe in 2024.
