Founded in 1907 in Wausau, Wisconsin, River Valley Bank was a community bank that grew to serve central and northern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In 2009, the bank launched a successful digital-only division named IncredibleBank. Recognizing the growth and future potential of its digital platform, the parent company, River Valley Bancorporation, made the strategic decision in 2019 to rebrand the entire company, including all physical River Valley Bank branches, under the IncredibleBank name. Today, IncredibleBank operates as a national online bank offering a full suite of personal and business banking services, while maintaining its community banking roots through its physical branch network.
