Myanmar Securities Exchange Centre Co., Ltd. (MSEC) is a key financial market infrastructure company in Myanmar, established as a joint venture between the state-owned Myanma Economic Bank, Daiwa Institute of Research Ltd., and the Japan Exchange Group, Inc. (JPX). MSEC's primary mission is to ensure the stable and efficient functioning of Myanmar's capital market by providing post-trade services. It operates as the sole central counterparty (CCP) for clearing and settlement and as the central securities depository (CSD) for all securities listed on the Yangon Stock Exchange (YSX).
