In 2016, the company rebranded from Monitronics to MONI Smart Security, using the tagline "driving intelligent business" for its commercial services. Following a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing and financial restructuring in 2019, the company relicensed the well-known "Brinks" name and now primarily operates as Brinks Home, effectively retiring the Moni brand.
