Founded by Philip Campbell in 2015, Kerv Wearables Ltd gained prominence through a successful Kickstarter campaign for the Kerv Ring, a wearable device enabling users to make instant contactless payments with a swipe of their hand. The ring was linked to a prepaid Mastercard account and worked anywhere that accepted contactless payments. In 2018, the company and its assets were acquired by Vouchermatic Ltd, which has since rebranded to DIGISEQ Ltd, a company that specializes in provisioning digital services into wearable items. The original legal entity, Kerv Wearables Ltd, was subsequently dissolved.
