Florida Bank Group, Inc. was a bank holding company founded in 2006 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The company operated through its subsidiary banks, including Florida Bank, offering a full range of banking services such as personal and commercial checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and treasury management. The group grew by acquiring several community banks across the state. In January 2015, Florida Bank Group was acquired by CenterState Banks, Inc. in a strategic merger. Subsequently, CenterState Banks merged with South State Corporation in 2020, and the combined entity now operates as South State Bank.
