Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Minneapolis, Dougherty & Company LLC was an employee-owned, full-service investment bank and brokerage firm. The company offered comprehensive financial solutions including public finance, investment banking for corporations (mergers & acquisitions, capital raising), institutional sales and trading of equity and fixed-income securities, and wealth management services for high-net-worth individuals. In late 2019, its investment banking and real estate lending operations were acquired by Colliers International. Subsequently, in 2020, the capital markets division of the business was sold by Colliers to D.A. Davidson & Co., leading to the cessation of the Dougherty & Company brand and its independent operations.
