Founded in 1993, Diversified Consultants, Inc. grew to become one of the largest debt collection agencies in the United States, focusing primarily on the wireless, telecommunications, cable, and utility sectors. The company provided first and third-party recovery services, employing hundreds of agents to manage accounts receivable for its clients. In February 2018, DCI was acquired by Performant Financial Corporation, a provider of technology-enabled recovery and related analytics services. Following the acquisition, the Diversified Consultants, Inc. brand and its direct operations were phased out and integrated into Performant.
