BCRS Business Loans is a non-profit Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI) that was established in 2002. Originally founded as the Black Country Reinvestment Society, the company rebranded to BCRS Business Loans to reflect its expansion beyond the Black Country to serve the entire West Midlands region. The organization has managed various funding programs, including the "Black Country Enterprise Fund". Its core mission is to provide access to finance for viable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that are unable to secure funding from traditional lenders like banks, thereby promoting social and economic development in the community.
