BitGlobal
Information by Mave Peterick
Originally known as Bithumb Global, the platform rebranded to BitGlobal in 2021 to establish itself as an independent, global-focused cryptocurrency exchange, distinct from its South Korean counterpart, Bithumb. It offered a wide range of digital asset services, including spot trading, margin trading, futures, staking, and an initial exchange offering (IEO) platform called BG Staging. In late 2022, the company suspended all services, citing the need to halt operations for a "comprehensive internal review." This ultimately led to the permanent termination of all services in May 2023, with numerous user reports of being unable to withdraw their funds.
