Bankernes Kontantservice A/S (BKS) was founded in 2016 as a result of a collaboration between the Danish central bank (Nationalbanken) and the Danish banking sector (represented by Finans Danmark). The company was formed by merging the cash handling activities of Loomis Danmark A/S and Nokas Værdihåndtering A/S. BKS's core mission is to ensure an efficient, secure, and robust cash infrastructure throughout Denmark.
