Founded in 2010, Auka was a Norwegian fintech company that became the first to develop mobile payment technology in Scandinavia and launch a mobile payment solution in Norway (mCASH). After selling mCASH, the company focused on providing a powerful, white-label, cloud-based mobile payments platform (the Auka Platform) to financial institutions worldwide, enabling them to launch their own mobile wallet services. In 2018, Auka's technology and business were spun out and rebranded as Settle, which continues the mission of simplifying digital payments and commerce across Europe.
