Ankorus was launched as an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) project during the 2017-2018 cryptocurrency boom. Its mission was to bridge the gap between traditional financial markets and the crypto world by creating an online exchange where users could trade tokenized securities (like stocks, bonds, and commodities) directly with cryptocurrencies. The company was incorporated in Gibraltar and aimed to offer a regulated and secure environment for this new form of asset trading. However, following the ICO, the project failed to gain traction and deliver a fully operational platform, and all public activity ceased around 2019.
