The "1Coin OneCoin Polska Team" was a network of promoters in Poland for the global OneCoin organization. OneCoin was marketed as a revolutionary cryptocurrency and a "Bitcoin killer" between 2014 and 2017. However, it was a fraudulent multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme that defrauded investors of billions of dollars worldwide. The scheme solicited investment in "educational packages" that purportedly included tokens to "mine" OneCoins. In reality, OneCoin had no verifiable blockchain, was not publicly traded, and its value was artificially set by the organization. The entire operation was a Ponzi scheme, where returns for early investors were paid with money from new recruits. The scheme collapsed following global law enforcement actions and regulatory warnings.
