Volmex Finance

Founded in 2020, Volmex Finance is a decentralized and non-custodial protocol built on Ethereum and Polygon. Its core mission is to bring crypto volatility indices and tradable volatility products to the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ecosystem. The protocol calculates and publishes real-time implied volatility indices, such as the Bitcoin Volatility Index (BVIV) and Ethereum Volatility Index (EVIV), which function similarly to the VIX index in traditional finance. Users can then trade perpetual futures contracts based on these indices, enabling them to hedge against or speculate on the volatility of major cryptocurrencies.
