Soramitsu

Founded in 2016, Soramitsu is a global financial technology company with expertise in developing and implementing blockchain solutions. The company is the original developer of the open-source Hyperledger Iroha blockchain platform, which is now part of the Linux Foundation's Hyperledger Project. Soramitsu's mission is to use blockchain to create a more efficient and secure financial system. It is renowned for its work on Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), notably co-developing the Bakong payment system for the National Bank of Cambodia, and is also involved in developing decentralized finance (DeFi) projects like the Polkaswap decentralized exchange.
