SaxoMT4 was not a separate company but a service brand used by Saxo Bank A/S, a leading Danish multi-asset investment bank founded in 1992. The service was designed to provide clients with access to Saxo Bank's liquidity and pricing through the popular MetaTrader 4 (MT4) trading platform. Around 2018-2019, Saxo Bank shifted its strategic focus towards its proprietary trading platforms, SaxoTraderGO and SaxoTraderPRO. Consequently, they discontinued direct onboarding of new MT4 clients. The domain `saxomt4.com` now redirects to a page on the official Saxo Bank website that explains how existing MT4 users can connect their platform to a Saxo account via a third-party bridge.
