PeerPower

Founded in 2016, PeerPower is the first company in Thailand to receive a license from the country's Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to operate a debt-based crowdfunding platform. Its mission is to bridge the financing gap for SMEs by providing them with an alternative to traditional bank loans, while simultaneously offering investors access to a new asset class with potentially attractive returns. The platform uses a proprietary credit assessment model to evaluate businesses, which then issue "crowdfunding bonds" that investors can purchase.
