Interwaste

Interwaste is a comprehensive waste management company based in South Africa, offering a wide range of services including collection, recycling, treatment, and disposal for hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Founded in 1989, the company grew to become a prominent player in the Southern African environmental services sector and was listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). In 2019, Interwaste was acquired by the French global group Séché Environnement, leading to its delisting from the JSE. The acquisition has since strengthened its technical capabilities and service offerings, aligning with its mission to provide innovative, sustainable, and environmentally responsible waste management solutions to its industrial, commercial, and municipal clients.
