ibdaa microfinance

Ibdaa Microfinance Bank is the first private microfinance bank in Syria, established under Legislative Decree No. 15 of 2007. It was founded through a partnership between the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) and private Syrian investors. The bank's mission is to combat poverty and unemployment by providing sustainable financial services, primarily small loans, to low-income individuals, especially women, enabling them to establish and grow their own income-generating projects. It officially commenced its operations in 2011.
