Gala Games

Founded in 2019 by Eric Schiermeyer (co-founder of Zynga) and Wright Thurston, Gala Games aims to revolutionize the entertainment industry by giving power back to the users. The company is building a decentralized ecosystem of games, music (Gala Music), and film (Gala Film) on its own blockchain, known as GalaChain (formerly Project GYRI). Its "player-first" mission focuses on creating engaging entertainment powered by player-owned assets, allowing users to trade, sell, and use their NFTs both within and outside the Gala ecosystem.
