Forest Road Acquisition Corp.

Forest Road Acquisition Corp. was a blank-check company, or SPAC, sponsored by Forest Road Company, a specialized asset management firm. The SPAC was led by a team of experienced media executives, including former Disney executives Kevin Mayer and Thomas Staggs, with notable strategic advisor Shaquille O’Neal. It raised $300 million in its November 2020 IPO with the goal of acquiring a company in the technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sector. In June 2021, Forest Road Acquisition Corp. successfully completed its business combination with The Beachbody Company Group and Myx Fitness Holdings, a digital fitness and nutrition company. The combined entity was renamed The Beachbody Company Group, LLC and began trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "BODY".
