Five Oaks Investment Corp.

Five Oaks Investment Corp. was a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) that commenced operations in 2013. The company's strategy was to invest in, finance, and manage a portfolio consisting primarily of residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and other mortgage-related investments. In November 2019, Five Oaks Investment Corp. completed a merger with Hunt Companies Acquisition Corp. I, and the combined entity was renamed Broadmark Realty Capital Inc. (NYSE: BRMK). As a result of the acquisition and subsequent rebranding, Five Oaks Investment Corp. ceased to exist as an independent, publicly-traded entity.
