Extend Health

Founded in 2006, Extend Health, Inc. pioneered and operated one of the nation's largest private Medicare exchanges. The company's platform helped retirees from employer-sponsored health plans evaluate, choose, and enroll in private Medicare plans that best suited their needs and budgets. In May 2012, Extend Health was acquired by Towers Watson for $435 million. Following the subsequent merger that formed Willis Towers Watson (WTW), the business unit was eventually sold to Conduent and now operates under the brand name Via Benefits, continuing the mission of providing health benefit solutions for retirees.
