EmCash

EmCash is a state-backed digital wallet and mobile payment application launched as a joint initiative between emaratech (a subsidiary of the Investment Corporation of Dubai) and the Dubai Department of Economic Development (DED). Its mission is to support Dubai's transition towards a smart, cashless economy by providing residents with a secure and seamless way to make payments for government services, retail purchases, and peer-to-peer transfers using their smartphones. The platform utilizes near-field communication (NFC) and QR code technology for transactions.
