Citibank India

Operating in India since 1902, Citibank is a key international financial institution in the country. It is a subsidiary of the global financial services company, Citigroup. In a major strategic shift, Citibank completed the sale of its consumer banking businesses in India, including retail banking, credit cards, and wealth management, to Axis Bank in March 2023. Post-divestment, Citibank India has sharpened its focus on its institutional client group, catering to large local corporations, multinationals, financial institutions, and emerging and mid-sized companies. Its core services now include corporate and investment banking, treasury and trade solutions, markets and securities services, and commercial banking.
