Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor

Established in 1991 by the Ho Chi Minh City Labour Confederation, the Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP) is one of Vietnam's pioneering microfinance organizations. Its mission is to combat poverty and promote community development by providing sustainable and accessible financial services, such as micro-loans and savings products, to poor workers, laborers, and other disadvantaged individuals. Operating as a social financial institution under the supervision of the State Bank of Vietnam, CEP focuses on empowering its clients to create jobs, improve their livelihoods, and achieve financial stability.
