Boost

Launched in 2017, Boost is the fintech arm of the Axiata Group. Initially starting as an e-wallet provider in Malaysia, it has evolved into a comprehensive digital financial services platform. Boost serves both consumers and merchants with a suite of services including digital payments (QR code, online checkout, bill payments), micro-financing, micro-insurance, and cross-border payment services. In 2022, a consortium of Boost and RHB Bank was awarded a digital bank license by Bank Negara Malaysia, further expanding its mission to promote financial inclusion in the region.
