Incorporated in February 2009, Beijing E-Town International Investment & Development Co., Ltd ( E-Town Capital ) is a State-owned investment and financing company with the mission of promoting industrial upgrading and technological innovation in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA for short). Oriented to real economy industrial development and adhering to financing service innovation, E-Town Capital has since its foundation combined the resources of both government and the market to constantly build platforms for diversified industrial investment as well as all-round financial service. E-Town Capital was assigned by the Beijing municipal government as one of the five management institutions for municipal-level pooled equity investment funds. E-Town Capital practices long-term strategic investment and runs an all-around and total access Beijing E-Town Parent Fund Business System. It has also made overseas acquisitions of Nexteer Automotive, ISSI, and Mattson Technology Inc. and invested in the SMIC Phase II & Ⅲ project of the BOE and BAIC Group, which promotes the agglomeration of high-end industries, including integrated circuits, equipment manufacturing, and aerospace technology. By the end of June 2018, E-Town Capital has invested in 116 projects, with a total investment of more than 35.4 billion yuan ($5.10 billion). Its parent fund system owns nearly 60 funds in total and participates in the management of funds of more than 250 billion yuan. E-Town Capital gradually refines its finance service, including financial assurance, financial leasing, and petty loans; upgrades product systems and serves the innovative development of small and medium-sized enterprises. It has developed a base for industrial agglomeration and innovative incubators by building special zones, such as Beijing Mobile E-Town and E-Startup. Beijing E-Town International Industrial Investment Management Co., Ltd. was inaugurated in 2013 with registered capital of 1,000 million yuan. The company is a professional industrial investment management enterprise in the finance service system and focuses on the construction of strategic emerging industries funds, such as integrated circuits, biological medicine, equipment manufacturing, aerospace technology. Founded on February 5, 2010, Beijing E-Town International Financing Guarantee Co., Ltd., with registered capital of 1.3 billion yuan, is a government-led policy-oriented loan guarantee company and one of the first companies to obtain a 5-year business license from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Financial Work. Founded in 2013, Beijing E-Town Financing Leasing Co., Ltd. with registered capital of $120 million, is the first Sino-foreign joint venture financial leasing company in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. Beijing E-Town International Small-credit Co., Ltd. is the BDA's first small-credit company approved by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance Work. As a construction platform of E-Town Capital’s industrial bases, Beijing Mobile E-Town Co., Ltd. focuses on the investment and development, investment promotion, and operation and management of the Mobile E-Town Park and offers innovative incubator services.
